JIYUCHO at I like paper. from April 16 to May 6

Hello, this is Yamamoto, manager of JIYUCHO and FUTO.

The second edition of I like paper., an event centered on paper, is now being held at POINT NO.39, a shop that has often helped us choose lighting for both JIYUCHO and FUTO.

The first edition was held last summer, and this is the second time the event has taken place. Under the concept of exploring the charm of paper and texture in a digital age, the venue is filled with items connected to paper: zines, handmade washi paper, letterpress printing, artworks, posters, and more.

JIYUCHO is participating with a booth featuring our new poetry collection Nanda Aika, Kotoba Coffee, and other original items.

Workshops are also part of the event. This time, visitors can enjoy calligraphy and foil-stamping experiences. JIYUCHO also held a letter-writing workshop where participants wrote letters to their future selves and finished them with a wax seal.

The warmth of paper and handwriting feels beautifully at home alongside antique furniture that has been cared for over many years and lighting made by hand. The whole space had a soft, gentle atmosphere.

There is also a cafe called SUNAO COFFEE inside the shop, where you can take a break with lemonade, crepes, and other drinks and sweets.

If you love paper, writing, or small tools that invite you to slow down, please stop by if you are nearby.
