PorchLight Coffee & Records

The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the corner where the posters were hung.

SEATTLE in white on a blue background, with the Space Needle as a coffee pot. Coffee being poured into a mug.

Other posters designed with motifs of coffee, records, and film cameras are lined up in a friendly manner.

After looking at the posters on hangers for a while, I went to the counter in the back and was asked, “What can I get for you?", "What size do you want?"
I said, “The biggest one I can get. Oh, and iced please".

I take a breath and turn around to look at the record shelf. I begin to check them out. I start to browse through the shelves, and remember that I want to buy a Fleet Foxes record (a popular band from Seattle).

But then I remembered something else. Here it is, the records of TOMO NAKAYAMA.

I thought to myself, “Oh, wow, of course there must be records because they were made by this company. Such a light hearted feeling and a heart immersed in the truth that I am now at the starting point of these records coexist.

"Iced latte is ready". "Thanks man". The barista and I talk lightly about Tomo Nakayama, and he says, "Tomo is the best," and I am pleased as if it were my own.
I drink a large iced latte. I sit on the sofa and relax, looking at the poster on the wall, the posters on hangers, and the goods lined up in the sales corner from my seat.

The posters are a bit slanted, which bothers me. However, the loose, yet cool atmosphere of the store makes me think that the slanting of the posters is intentional.
