Letters About Moments of Love: Exhibition and Workshop in Omotesando

Hello, this is Yamamoto, the manager. We have an event announcement.

For the Valentine's season, we will hold an exhibition and workshop at Panasonic Beauty OMOTESANDO under the theme of the beauty of a heart that thinks of someone.

Letters and workshop about moments when love was felt

What is Panasonic Beauty OMOTESANDO meets JIYUCHO?

Hosted by Panasonic Beauty OMOTESANDO, a showroom where visitors can experience Panasonic beauty items, this event looks at beauty from different angles and develops original projects in collaboration with brands from other fields.

About the exhibition

The exhibition features letters and poems on the theme of the moment you felt or came to know love. It gathers memories such as realizing only later that someone had loved you, or remembering a day long ago when someone's love still warms your heart.

Letters addressed to one's past self or to someone else will be displayed alongside poems about love written by JIYUCHO and FUTO owner and poet Shohei Koyama.

Reading the letters already gathered, we have found episodes that feel familiar and words that warm the heart. We hope the exhibition becomes a chance for visitors to feel the love they have received and the love they have given.

Letters for the exhibition are being accepted at JIYUCHO and FUTO until February 5. If you would like to write one, please feel free to speak to staff.

About the workshop

In the workshop, visitors can write a letter to someone important or to their future self, then seal it with a sealing stamp in a color of their choice. Participation is free.

We will prepare question cards to help you write, so if you are unsure what to say, you can look at the cards and put your feelings into words.

If you would like the letter mailed to someone or delivered one year later, we can arrange that for an additional fee. Delivery one year later is 1,100 yen per letter, and next-day mailing is 330 yen.

Workshop participation is limited to the first 100 people, and numbered tickets will be distributed at the venue. Please feel free to come alone or with friends. We look forward to seeing you there.
