JIYUCHO OTOBANCHI IN SEATTLE!

Good evening! This is Yamamoto from JIYUCHO!

After five editions at FUTO in Kuramae, Tokyo, JIYUCHO’s music project Oto Banchi is crossing the ocean for the first time to Seattle! ✨

Featuring Tomo Nakayama, Tiny Vipers, and Sasha Sarene.

Owner Koyama first met Tomo while studying in Seattle, where seeing him perform profoundly influenced Koyama’s life. They’ve stayed in touch, and Tomo has performed at Oto Banchi in Japan twice. Now, we’re bringing the event to his home city!

Alongside music by Tomo and local artists, guests can write a letter to their future selves, to be read in one year. ✉️

The flyer was designed by Zack, owner of Seattle’s Porchlight Coffee & Records—a shop that carries Tomo’s records and inspired Koyama to start taking film photographs.

Seattle is special to us, and we’re happy to take this new step with the support of people we’ve met along the way. ☺️
