This month, the conversation turned toward how the future begins from the present. We often imagine the future as something far away, but perhaps it is already being shaped by the small choices, words, and moments we are living now.

March opening schedule
In March, JIYUCHO and FUTO will continue to open as places where you can write to the future, choose words for someone, read, think, and spend time with yourself.
JIYUCHO is open on weekdays from 13:00 to 18:00 and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except when they fall on holidays. FUTO is open on weekdays from 13:00 to 18:00 and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00. It is closed on Tuesdays, except when they fall on holidays.
We use dynamic pricing depending on the time of day. Morning visits before 11:00 are more affordable and often quieter. Please choose the time that feels best for you.
Event report
We would like to share a report from a recent event held around JIYUCHO and FUTO. Whenever people gather through words, letters, music, or shared time, the room takes on a different atmosphere from an ordinary day.
Someone writes quietly. Someone listens. Someone laughs at a small remark. These moments may not remain as large events in history, but for the people who were there, they become memories with a clear texture.

We have created LETTER COFFEE, coffee that can be sent like a letter.
Coffee is often present beside time spent thinking, reading, or writing. A cup can help someone begin the morning, take a break, or sit quietly with themselves. We wanted to make something that carries not only flavor, but also the feeling of sending a small moment to someone.
It can be given as a gift, sent with words, or kept for your own quiet time. We hope it reaches someone as both coffee and a letter.
A recommended poem in place of closing words
The title of this issue is Because Now Exists, the Future Can Begin. Writing to the future may sound like looking far ahead, but the paper is always here, under our hands, in the present.
