JIYUCHO 5th Anniversary Special Projects

Hello, this is Takano from JIYUCHO.

On August 11, JIYUCHO celebrates its fifth anniversary. To everyone who has enjoyed this place with us, and to everyone who has watched over us from afar, thank you so much.

To celebrate, we are introducing two special anniversary projects.

1. Dasei IS GOLDEN T-shirt

Among the poems we have shared on the JIYUCHO website and social media, Dasei IS GOLDEN has remained one of the most beloved. Now, that poem has become a T-shirt.

Owner Shohei Koyama designed it quietly, arranged samples, and before we knew it, a very serious and very playful T-shirt had been created.

The shirt is available by preorder only until August 18 at 23:59. It is made with a sturdy, thick fabric and printed with the poem Dasei IS GOLDEN, a phrase that almost makes you want to lounge around. Gold thread, the kind used for stage costumes, is added as embroidery.

Each shirt is handmade one by one by Bana-nii from BLUE BANANA STAND, a general store here in Kuramae.

2. Poetry Collection: A World Finally Made by You and Me

We are also releasing a poetry collection by JIYUCHO owner and poet Shohei Koyama, titled A World Finally Made by You and Me.

From more than 1,500 poems written over the years, 67 pieces have been selected, including newly written poems. The book feels like a culmination of the work so far.

It is a paperback-sized volume, easy to open during everyday life whenever you want to take a breath. Many of the words may remind you of someone close or important, so it is also recommended as a gift.

Those who preorder by August 10 at 23:59 will receive a small poetic word plate as a limited bonus while supplies last.
