Chikuzen Sato at JIYUCHO Otobanchi vol.4

We are pleased to announce JIYUCHO Otobanchi vol.4, an unplugged live performance by Chikuzen Sato of Sing Like Talking, held at FUTO in Kuramae, Tokyo.

Since his major debut in 1988 as the vocalist of Sing Like Talking, Chikuzen Sato has continued to enjoy music with many outstanding musicians. This special acoustic performance brings his voice into the intimate space of FUTO.

A Message from Owner Shohei Koyama

More than ten years ago, when I first heard the name Sing Like Talking from a friend, I remember thinking what a stylish name it was.

Sing Like Talking. Singing as if speaking.

As the name suggests, Chikuzen Sato sings as if he speaks, and speaks as if he sings. I have learned countless songs from his stage, and just as much freedom and dignity from the sincere way he enjoys music.

Through his work in the band, as a solo artist, and with SALT & SUGAR, he has continued to stand at the front of Japanese music with wonderful adults around him. Now the day has come when FUTO will be filled with his free imagination and voice, a voice that has released music from the boundaries of genre.

If you would like, I hope we can spend a night together immersed in music, as if singing and talking at once.

We will be waiting in a small back street of Kuramae, in Tokyo’s old downtown.

Seat A: 6,160 yen including tax
Seat B: 5,500 yen including tax

All seats are reserved. Because of the venue structure, the sound experience differs between Seat A and Seat B, with Seat A offering a richer resonance. Each guest may purchase up to four tickets. All ticket types require one drink order and include buffet-style food.

Each ticket also includes a postcard that can be sent to yourself one year later. Write down the memories of the evening at the venue, post it there, and it will be delivered one year from now.
